Teenage Rape Accused Found Hanging in Kalahandi Juvenile Home

Bhawanipatna:  A minor boy was found hanging in the toilet of a juvenile home in Odisha’s Kalahandi district on Monday. According to police sources, the victim was a 16-year-old from Kukudabai village in Nabarangpur district.

The teenager was taken into custody for his alleged involvement in a rape case. He was staying in the juvenile home since August 12 after being taken into custody in the rape case.

Personnel of the Bhawanipatna Sadar police station seized the body of the minor and sent it for postmortem. An investigation into this unnatural death has been initiated.
