Three Arrested in Rayagada for Killing College Student

Rayagada: Three persons were arrested on charges of killing a college student in Odisha’s Rayagada district on Saturday.

On Friday, Pramod Kolaka, the nephew of former Zilla Parishad president Gangadhar Puala, was stabbed to death in Rayagada town while he was returning on his scooter after dropping his cousin at school.

The three accused arrested in connection to this murder case are Dipana Himrika, Hemant Kilaka and Arya Gandagiri of Khilimishiguda village.

The accused escaped after stabbing the victim.

It is suspected that past enmity may be the reason behind this murder. Rayagada police had formed four special teams to nab the culprits.
