Three Class 10 Students Die in Bike Accident in Cuttack Dist

Cuttack: Three students studying in class 10 died in a tragic road accident in Banki of Odisha’s Cuttack district on Saturday.

In a tragic incident, two Class-10 students were killed on the spot, while another critically injured died during treatment in SCB Medical College and hospital in Cuttack.

These three students were returning from a coaching centre on a bike when they were hit by a speeding pickup van at around 10 am near Ransankha on Cuttack-Banki main road. The deceased students were identified as Soham Nayak and Amyansu Piroi. The critically injured classmate Abinash Nayak was shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for treatment. But doctors could not save him. All deceased were from Harirajpur village in Banki block.

The local police seized the pickup van and initiated a probe into the incident.
