Donald Trump Wins Republican Polls in 3 US States, Nears Nomination

Donald Trump has secured victories in the Republican Party’s internal elections in Missouri, Michigan, and Idaho, bolstering his bid for the presidential nomination.

These wins mark his dominance leading up to the crucial “Super Tuesday” next week, where 15 states will choose their preferred candidates. Trump’s momentum appears unstoppable, positioning him as the likely nominee for the Republican convention in July, setting the stage for a potential rematch with President Joe Biden in the November elections.

Despite some internal party tensions and differing rules in the recent contests, Trump emerged victorious in all three states.

In Missouri, he swept every county caucus, while in Michigan, he claimed all 39 delegates in a caucus convention amid party disarray. Trump also secured a clear win in Idaho’s Republican caucuses.

Former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley, Trump’s main opponent, faces an uphill battle as she seeks to challenge the inevitability of his nomination ahead of Super Tuesday.
