Twin Blasts Kill 4, Injure 12 in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakthunkhwa

At least four people, including a police officer, were killed while 12 were injured when two blasts rocked the Doaba police station in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Hangu in Pakistan on Friday, reported The Dawn.

The first blast took place at the entrance of the police station after which a number of people gathered at the site. A few minutes later, another blast occurred inside a mosque situated on the premises of the police station.

The second blast took place during the Friday namaz. The roof of the mosque caved in due to the impact of the explosion with nearly 30 to 40 people stuck under the rubble.

These are suspected to be suicide blasts.

These twin blasts occurred a few hours after at least 52 people were killed and over 50 injured in a suicide blast near Madina Mosque in Balochistan province’s Mastung district in Pakistan.
