Twitter Down Globally, Users Get Automatically Logged Out

Thousands of people were unable to access the microblogging service Twitter on Wednesday, according to the outage monitoring website Downdetector.com. Users on PCs and mobile devices encountered error messages and were unable to access the site or manage notifications.

As of 7:40 PM ET, over 10,000 users in the US had trouble accessing the social media platform. Some users claimed they were automatically logged out, while others alleged that their Twitter notifications were broken.

Some people were informed that Twitter had exceeded its capacity. Notably, Twitter has experienced three such outages since Elon Musk became the company’s CEO.

Even after numerous refreshes, the error notice continued to appear.
