Twitter Unveils ‘Blue’ Subscription Plans; Check Plan Details

San Fransisco: The Twitter Blue service, which was taken down by the microblogging site after several fake accounts misappropriated the service by using it to cause mayhem on Twitter, has now unveiled its new subscription plans.

In December last year, Twitter stated that it would be relaunching Twitter Blue, but with a variety of privacy and security settings.

Twitter now has finally unveiled subscription packages for users worldwide, which now include a monthly pack.

A US yearly fee of $84 would grant you a blue badge for a whole year, which works up to about $7 each month. While a monthly subscription would cost $8 in the US or $11 if you use iOS.

In addition to the blue verification mark, Twitter Blue also provides several extra features like a thread reader, priority ranking in discussion answers, an extended video upload limit of 60 minutes, a theme customization option, and the ability to edit tweets.

Only a few countries, like the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, presently offer the service. Twitter will, however, shortly make the services available to the rest of the world.
