Two Get Death Penalty For Murder of Couple & 4-Yr-Old Son In Angul

Angul: Two persons were convicted and awarded death sentence by the Athmallik Additional District Judge(ADJ) Court in Angul district on Friday for murder of a couple and their four-year-old son.

The two convicts, identified as Nanda Kishore Sethi and Prakash Behera sentenced to death by the court on the basis of statements of witnesses and evidence.

According to the chargesheet, this triple murder took place on October 10, 2017, at the Gambharimalia village under Kishorenagar police limits in the Angul district.

The couple had borrowed Rs 1.5 lakh cash. After getting information about it, Nanda Kishore and Prakash murdered the couple and their four-year-old son to loot the money.
