Villagers Kill 15ft Long Python in Mayurbhanj District; Drag it on Road

Baripada: A 15-foot-long python was killed by villagers in the Kuliana block under the ​​Baripada forest division in the Mayurbhanj district.

In a video making rounds on social media, the villagers are seen killing the huge python and dragging it on the road.

Pythons are endangered species and come under the Wildlife Species-1 category.

After receiving information, the officials of the Baripada forest division reached the spot for investigation. According to forest officials, legal action will be taken against the persons involved in the killing of the large python.
