Wild Jackal Attacks And Injures 15 Including 7 Women in Ganjam Dist

Berhampur: A wild jackal attacked and injured 15 persons including seven women in Polasara block of Ganjam district on Wednesday morning.

Wild jackal attack incidents were reported from Hatioata, Jemadipur and Pranapuradeipura villages under Polasara police station limits.

Most of the victims of wild jackal attacks were members of peasant families on their way to their fields. The injured were provided treatment at Polasara Community Health Center.

A team of forest officials rushed to the area after getting information about these wild jackal attacks and efforts are on to capture the rogue animal.
