Good news for SBI customers: Banking benefits now available on Whatsapp

Good news for all the customers of State Bank of India. Now all the benefits of the bank can be found at your fingertips through digital. No need to stand in line at the bank anymore. For this, the State Bank of India has made another feature available for customers. You can get some benefits of SBI through the new feature of WhatsApp banking. Here’s what you need to know about these benefits:

Customers will get two services through SBI’s WhatsApp service. Customers of the bank can get their account balance and mini statement of the last 5 transactions through WhatsApp. Account holders can check their account balance without logging in after Yono. Similarly, the customer can also get a mini statement without going to ATM. This has also been announced by the State Bank of India. Customers can get all these benefits only through WhatsApp.

To get this facility of SBI one has to register an SBI account. First, you have to give your consent through an SMS.

How to Register for WhatsApp Banking Service:

Step 1- To register your bank account with SBI WhatsApp Banking Service, write ‘SMS WAREG A/C No’ and send it to (+917208933148) from your registered mobile number.

Steps 2- After registration sends Whatsapp to 9022690226 number. This will open a pop-up message box.

Step 3- Now check your account balance, and mini statement, and register the WhatsApp banking option.

Step 4- Type 1 to check the account balance and press 2 to get the mini statement.
