HCL pays over Rs 74 cr dividend to government for FY’22

New Delhi: Hindustan Copper Limited today has paid a dividend of more than 74 crore rupees to the union government for the financial year 2021-22. This is equivalent to over 23 percent of equity share capital.

The Ministry of Mines said that the total dividend pay-out to all shareholders is more than one hundred twelve crore rupees. The dividend per share is the highest ever declared by the Company.

The Ministry said that the company achieved the highest-ever net turnover of over eighteen hundred crore rupees and Profit Before Tax of nearly three hundred eighty-two crore rupees during the financial year 2021-22.

The Company is currently implementing its mine expansion plan to achieve over 12 million tonnes per annum of ore production.
