SBI launches ‘Cashback Card’, now offers discounts on every purchase

New Delhi: India’s largest bank SBI has introduced a cashback card facility. By using this card, one can get more discounts than the cashback available on SBI Credit and Debit. This card offers 5% cashback on online and offline shopping without any merchant spending.

According to information received from the company, customers across India, including Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, can apply for a ‘Cashback SBI Card’ from their homes through the digital application platform ‘SBI Card Sprint’.

According to the company, the contactless card is free for the first year till March 2023 as a special offer. It states that ‘Cashback SBI Card’ customers will get unlimited 1% cashback on all spending. Up to 5% cashback will be available on online purchases up to a maximum of Rs 10,000 per month. Cashback SBI card has an auto-credit cashback facility. Hence, you will get the cashback in the customer’s SBI card account within two days of statement generation.

To renew this card, the cardholder will have to pay a charge of Rs 999 in a year and pay the applicable taxes. An annual charge of Rs 999 will be refunded to cardholders making minimum purchases of up to Rs 2 lakh per year. This cashback will be available on the SBI Card Visa platform.
