Starbucks CEO to get salary of 140 crores per year

New Delhi: Laxman Narasimhan, who has been appointed as the CEO of Starbucks, will get a salary of Rs. 140 crores per year. Earlier, while working as the CEO of Reckitt & Benckiser, Laxman was taking a salary of Rs 55 crore. Starbucks has set new goals for him. If he succeeds in acquiring it, the company will pay a salary of Rs.140 crores.

Starbucks is twice the size of Reckitt & Benckiser in terms of revenue. Accordingly, Laxman is entitled to a higher salary. Starbucks is a 50-year-old company with a presence in 34,000 locations worldwide. Laxman, who is now in London, will go to Seattle, the USA in October and start working for Starbucks there. His real work as CEO will start on April 1, 2023. A graduate of Mechanical Engineering from Pune University, Laxman has 30 years of business management experience.
