4 Including 3 Teens Arrested for Drunken Ruckus on Moving Train in Tamil Nadu

Chennai: Four persons, including three teens, were arrested on Tuesday for creating a ruckus on a moving train in a drunken state in Tamil Nadu. The nabbed teens included a minor.

The video of their misdeed went viral on social media. In a drunken state, they misbehaved with other passengers on the Alapuzha Express, which left Chennai Central station on Saturday night.

As the train was moving between Erode and Tiruppur, these four inebriated youngsters danced, made indecent gestures, and allegedly smoked and drank alcohol in the compartment.

When a family travelling on the same train objected to the obscene behaviour of the youngsters, they thrashed a man and got off the train to escape.

Based on the passenger’s complaint, personnel of the Tiruppur Police station arrested the youths identified as M Ashok (18), Pawan Kumar (17), S Sudalairaj (18) and K Karan (23).

The minor was sent to a juvenile home, while others were remanded to judicial custody.
