Ahmedabad: A shocking case of honey trap has come to light in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. In fact, here on a chatting app, the young man had a friendship with a woman. After that both of them started talking on phone; however after a few days suddenly the woman’s call came that her husband has gone out of the house, so the man should come home. In such a situation, the young man reached the woman’s house and both got intimate in the bed room. However, soon after that he realized that something was wrong. After that two people came there and threatened to implicate her in the charge of rape and demanded Rs 5 lakh. In such a situation, he also gave Rs 2.70 lakh, although after demanding more, the youth has given a complaint to the Chandrakheda police.

The 30-year-old victim, who runs a shop in Asarwa, Ahmedabad, is a resident of Ambavadi area. Just a few days ago, on the Kawek-Kawek app, he became friends with woman named kaviuta and after that both of them started talking on Instagram and WhatsApp as well. At the same time, a few days ago, Kavita sent him the location of her house and called the young man to her house. In such a situation, the young man also went to her house with enthusiasm and returned after drinking coffee.

A few days after all this happened, Kavita told him, “Tomorrow my husband is going to Surat. I will be alone at home. I want to meet you.” The young man went to meet her after coming under the guise of the woman. After that both of them sat and talked for some time. After that Kavita approached and both went to the bed room. Both got intimate. During this suddenly two people came there and started beating the boy. They threatened to implicate him in the rape case, and then a third person also came, who identified himself as a lawyer by giving his name as Ramesh.

After that he took the mobile phone of the youth and asked him to transfer Rs 5 lakh. However, when the youth said that he did not have 5 lakh rupees, he asked to pay 70 thousand rupees for the time being and demanded the amount in installments. In such a situation, the victim gave 70 thousand rupees. At the same time, even after giving Rs 2.70 lakh, when they kept demanding money, the victim went to the police and gave a complaint. Police have started investigation by registering a case.
