Businessman Stabbed to Death by Daughter’s Lover in Andhra

Vijayawada: A businessman was stabbed to death by his daughter’s lover in Andhra Pradesh’s Vijayawada on Thursday night.

Manikantha repeatedly stabbed the trader with a sickle near a showroom on Bandar Road, Vijayawada.

The trader’s daughter, who was accompanying the man, screamed and tried to stop the accused but failed in her efforts.

The accused escaped from the spot after committing the murder. Police are trying to nab him.

According to the police, Manikantha was in love with the trader’s daughter. He was warned by the woman’s father to snap ties with his daughter, after which he made the lethal attack on the victim.
