Crime Branch Team With Army Officer, His Fiancée Visit  Pathargadia As Part of Investigation

Bhubaneswar: An Odisha Crime Branch team along with the victimized army officer and his fiancée visited Patharagadia on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar in connection with the investigation of the alleged assault on the duo at the spot as well as at Bharatpur police station.

It is alleged that a group of youths allegedly assaulted the army officer and his fiancée at Pathargadia.

At the spot, the Crime Branch team took details from the army officer and his fiancée regarding the ordeals they faced on the spot on the fateful night.

The statements of the Army Captain and his fiancée were corroborated with their filed complaint and the CCTV footages from the area.

On Wednesday morning, the Odisha Crime Branch had summoned the army officer and his fiancée, to  record their statements, as a part of the investigation.
