Drunk Man Kills 9-Yr-Old Son By Stuffing Paper Ball in His Mouth in Maharashtra

Mumbai: A 59-year-old man was arrested in Maharashtra’s Thane district for allegedly murdering his nine-year-old son by stuffing a paper ball into his mouth.

The accused was in a drunken state at the time he committed the crime on the intervening night of Monday-Tuesday. The man and his wife were living separately and the boy was staying with his mother.

The boy went missing from his mother’s house on Monday. His body was found near his father’s house at on Tuesday morning.

The police found a paper ball stuffed into the boy’s mouth and blood oozing out of his nose.

Initial investigation has revealed that the accused in inebriated state allegedly stuffed a ball, made from torn notebook paper, into the boy’s mouth, resulting in his death.

The accused was arrested on Tuesday night and booked under Indian Penal Code section 302 (murder).
