Female Teacher Kills Husband With Help of Lover in Chhattisgarh

Raipur: A female teacher of a government school, Devika Chandrakar took help from her lover Mukund Tripathy to kill her husband Yupesh Chandrakar in Chhattisgarh’s Mahasamund District.

Devika and Mukund have been arrested by the police. Devika’s mother is also in police custody for interrogation.

On December 8, Yupesh Chandrakar, who was drunk, had a fight with his wife, Devika, over her illicit affair. During the altercation, Devika made him unconscious by hitting him on the head with a stick.

According to police sources, Devika’s lover, Mukund, and her mother, Anjani Chandrakar, placed Yupesh on the bed. Devika then left to pick up her daughter from school.

In the meantime, Mukund took Yupesh to his house and strangled him to death. Mukund kept the body in his house for two days. On December 10, Mukund and Devika dug a 4-5 foot deep pit in Mukund’s office and buried the body.

Devika had filed a missing person report for her husband on December 14. But during police investigation, Mukund confessed to the crime. Devika Chandrakar and Mukund Tripathi have been arrested and remanded to judicial custody.

Devika’s mother is also being questioned.
