Girl Sets Fire to Ex-Boyfriend’s House in Bhadrak After Their Breakup

Bhadrak: A girl allegedly set fire to her ex-boyfriend’s house at Rukunadeipur village under Basudevpur police station limits in Bhadrak district after their breakup.

According to reports, Prabhat Mahapatra of Rukunadeipur village was in a long-distance relationship with a girl from Bhadrak. Prabhat is employed outside Odisha. Due to some reasons, they had a breakup.

It is alleged that the girl reached Pravat’s home on a scooter with a friend on Friday evening and abused his family members. She allegedly attacked his mother and sister.

Later, she poured petrol on the house and set it on fire. But the villagers reached the spot in time to prevent any major damage to the house.

The villagers rounded up the two women and handed them over to the personnel of the Basudevpur police station. The police have detained the two girls and are investigating into the matter.
