IndiGo Passenger Arrested for Trying to Open Emergency Door

Bengaluru: A passenger of the Nagpur to Bengaluru IndiGo flight was arrested for allegedly trying to open the emergency exit door prior to take-off.

The arrested man was identified as Swapnil Holey. He boarded the Indigo flight 6E 6803 from Nagpur at around 10 pm on September 30.

He was seated near the emergency exit door of the aircraft. Before takeoff, he allegedly attempted to open the emergency door.

When the flight landed at the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru at 11.55 pm, the erring passenger was arrested. He was later released on bail.

He was scheduled to take a flight to Bangkok on October 1.
