Man Strangles Woman To Death After Extra-Marital Affair in Maharashtra

Mumbai: A 38-year-old man allegedly killed a woman with whom he had an extra-marital affair in Maharashtra’s Thane district on Wednesday. He was arrested under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) section 103 (murder).

The accused was having an extramarital affair with the 32-year-old victim, who was unmarried. It is alleged that both were having frequent quarrels over certain issues.

On Tuesday, both booked a room in a lodge in Mumbra and there they had a fight during which the man strangled the woman to death, police sources said.

After receiving the information, police reached the spot and found the body of the victim on a bed in the room of the lodge. The police sent the body for postmortem and arrested the man on Wednesday morning under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) section 103 (murder).
