Minor Girl Gang Raped in Assam’s Nagaon Days After 14-Year-Old Gang-Raped in Same Dist

Guwahati: A minor girl was allegedly raped in Assam’s Nagaon on Friday. This incident followed the gang rape of a 14-year-old girl in the district a few days back.

According to reports, two bike-borne miscreants allegedly forcefully took the girl to a secluded place and raped her in Nagaon district’s Dhing. The victim was returning home with her younger brother, when the miscreants targeted her.

Police have launched a massive manhunt to nab the two accused. The younger brother managed to escape and informed the local residents, who rescued the girl.

In August, a 14-year-old girl, who was returning from her coaching class, was allegedly gang-raped by three persons in Dhing.

She found in a semi-conscious state near a pond August 22.
