Murdered 9-Yr-Old Boy’s Body Found in Septic Tank in Tamil Nadu, Police Detain 13-Yr-Old

Chennai: A nine-year-old boy, studying at an Urdu promotion institute in Tamil Nadu’s Madurai, was stabbed to death, and his body was found inside a septic tank.

The deceased child was from Bihar. The incident happened in Kathapatti village of Madurai. The warden of the residential institute lodged a complaint with the police on May 25 as the nine-year-old boy was missing.

The police investigation led to the discovery of the minor’s body hidden inside the septic tank. It bore multiple stab wounds on neck and stomach.

According to police sources, the minor had an altercation with a 13-year-old boy, who was also a student at the institute. This 13-year-old has been detained by the police for interrogation and further investigation.
