Police Constable Stabbed in Bhubaneswar While Intervening a  Spat Over Honking

Bhubaneswar: A PCR constable was allegedly stabbed while trying to intervene in a spat over honking between two groups of youths at Sriram Nagar under the Mancheswar Police station limits at around 2 am on Friday.

According to reports, four youths were standing in Sriram Nagar area when two youths on a bike honking the horn. This led to an altercation between the two groups.

Later, the two bike-borne youths allegedly attacked the other group with knives and injured three of them.

It is alleged that one of them also attacked a constable, when a PCR van reached the spot to intervene.

According to sources, the accused youth has been detained by the police.
