Rajasthan Sub-Inspector Arrested for raping 4-Yr-Old Dismissed from Service

Bhupendra Singh, the sub-inspector of the Rajasthan Police who was arrested for allegedly raping a 4-year-old girl in Dausa district was dismissed from service on Saturday.

Rajasthan’s Director General of Police, Umesh Mishra had ordered his dismissal.

According to police sources, the erring cop lured the minor to his room on Friday and raped her. Locals nabbed the sub-inspector and beat him up before he was handed over to the police.

This incident became an election issue in poll-bound Rajasthan. Using this incident, BJP targeted the ruling Congress party in Rajastha, BJP leaders claimed that around 18 to 22 such incidents are reported in the state every day and said Rajasthan has become number one in cases of atrocities against women and Dalits.
