Rs 3.5 Cr Cash, Gold Ornaments Seized from Looter Gang Arrested by Punjab Police

Ludhiana: Punjab police personnel of Ludhiana arrested four persons of gang involved in a multi-crore robbery case, on Tuesday.

Ludhiana police recovered Rs 3.51 crore in cash and gold ornaments from the possession of arrested persons.

According to police sources, five days back, these arrested persons had looted cash and ornaments worth crores from the house of a renowned doctor on Pakhowal Road of Ludhiana. Using the vital leads from the CCTV footage, police managed to apprehend the suspects.

DGP Gaurav Yadav appreciated the Ludhiana police for solving the case.

In a tweet, the DGP said the Ludhiana police solved the case in a record five days using a professional and scientific approach.
