Suspended Student Stabs Teacher, Another Student in Tamil Nadu School

Trichy: A suspended student stabbed and injured a teacher and another student inside a classroom in Srirangam Boys Higher Secondary School in Tamil Nadu’s Trichy on Monday.

The attacker was identified as a Class 12 science stream student, who was recently suspended from school. On Monday afternoon, he entered a classroom wearing a mask and attacked another student and a commerce teacher, Shivakumar. Both were immediately taken to Srirangam Government Hospital.

At the time of the attack, the boy was not wearing his uniform.

Police have registered a case and have initiated an investigation. A search is on for the accused, who is absconding.
