Tenant Allegedly Murders Landlord in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A man was allegedly murdered by his tenant in the Tamando area on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.

The body of the deceased identified as Susant Satpathy was discovered in a pool of blood near an engineering college on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar under the Tamando police station limits.

Although Susant Satpathy was rushed to a hospital, the doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.

Police suspect that his tenant was involved in the murder. A manhunt has been launched to nab the absconding tenant, whose whereabouts are not known after the death of the landlord. The 35-year-old landlord had rented his house to a youth.

The arrest of the tenant will help police unravel the mystery behind the murder, police sources said.
