UP Couple Cons People Of Rs 400 Crore and Escapes

Prayagraj: A couple in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj has escaped after duping locals of Rs 400 crore. The victims of this cheat couple include students, traders, lawyers, housewives, and others.

The couple collected money from gullible persons by luring them into investing in properties. Then they absconded with the money.

After registering a case against the director of Niharika Ventures, Abhishek Dwivedi, his wife Niharika, and his father Om Prakash, the police have formed special teams to track them down.

The accused floated the company around two years back and offered returns on investments in the real estate business. The investors were lured by properties in different areas of the district.

For over two years, the fraudulent company collected investments from more than 200 people. Police officials said that so far 221 fraud victims have come forward to complain before the police.
