UP Man Murders 1-Yr-Old Son Alleging He Wasn’t His Child

Lucknow: A man of Bahraich in Uttar Pradesh allegedly murdered his one-year-old son alleging that he was not the father of the child.

Following a complaint lodged by his wife, the accused was arrested by the police. His wife found the child in an unconscious state on Thursday and the baby was immediately admitted to a hospital where he succumbed.

The mother of the baby accused her husband for the murder. The body of the baby was sent for post-mortem.

The arrested man was booked under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code.

As per preliminary investigation, it was found that the accused named Sujit doubted the fidelity of his wife and used to allege that the baby was not his child. So he killed the child.
