UP Woman Kills Her Jilted Lover With Boyfriend’s Help

Ghaziabad: A woman and her boyfriend were arrested by the police in the Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh for murdering her “jilted” lover for stalking her.

The body of the 21-year-old deceased identified as Nitish Sharma found lying in a pool of blood on Friday night. Father of the deceased, Kishore Sharma, complained to the police that his son was murdered by Rani, 20, and her boyfriend Raju Thapa, 22.

Nitish was stabbed to death, police sources said.

Initial investigation has revealed that Rani and Thapa were in a relationship. During interrogation, Rani confessed that she was irked by Nitish’s advances as he had begun stalking her. He allegedly used to intercept Rani on the road on several occasions pressing her to marry him.

But Rani wanted to marry Thapa. Angry over the activities of Nitish, the duo decided to kill him.

A case has been registered against the woman and her boyfriend under section 103 (1) (murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
