Varsha Priyadarshini Accused Of Conning Woman Of Rs 30K On Pretext Of Job

Bhubaneswar: Ollywood actress Varsha Priyadarshini is embroiled in yet another controversy after it was claimed that she conned a woman of Rs 30,000 under the pretext of offering her a position in a local jewellery store.

The woman, who is a resident of Bhubaneswar, lodged an FIR in connection with this with the Saheed Nagar police.

The complaint claims that she met Varsha and her associate Ayushi Priyadarshini at Janata Maidan, Bhubaneswar in May.

Varsha offered her assistance and instructed her to get in touch with Ayushi as the woman identified herself as a fan of the actress.

On July 15, Ayushi begged a woman she met in the area of Sriya Chhak for Rs 50,000 so Varsha could acquire a job paying Rs 25,000 per month.

When the woman said she couldn’t afford it, Ayushi advised her to speak with Varsha, who required a minimum payment of Rs 30,000 to do the task.

On July 25, the complainant borrowed money and deposited it in Varsha’s bank account.

However, the woman said that following the incident, the actress stopped returning her calls.

Meanwhile, Varsha is yet to respond to the accusations.
