When Denied Sex UP Man Attacks Live-In Partner, Arrested

Lucknow: A native of UP, Shivam Kumar was arrested from Gurugram on Friday for allegedly attacking his live-in partner with a screwdriver leaving her seriously injured.

The complainant (28) alleged that Shivam forced her to have sex with him on Thursday. When she denied, he allegedly struck her on the neck with a screwdriver.

The woman is married but lives separately from her husband in a rented room in Gurugram. She had built up live-in relationship with Shivam Kumar of Kannauj in UP. She alleged that recently she came to know that Shivam was married.

Receiving a complaint, police arrested the accused from Rajiv Chowk on Friday.
