Woman Strangles 2-Yr-Old Niece to Death for Disturbing Her Sleep

Bhopal: A woman in Jabalpur of Madhya Pradesh allegedly strangled her two-year-old niece to death for disturbing her sleep.

The accused has been arrested by the personnel of the Hanumantal police station.

The victim was the daughter of one Sakil Mansoori. She went missing on Monday afternoon and her family filed a missing person report.

Police could search out the body of the girl under a sofa in the drawing room.

During interrogation of family members of the deceased child, Afsana, the girl’s aunt confessed that she had murdered the child.

According to Afsana, the child did not let her sleep in the afternoon on Monday. The little girl cried loudly, when she was slapped. In anger Afsana covered her mouth and nose with my hand to silence her. When she found that the child had died, Afsana hid her body under the sofa.

A case of murder has been registered against Afsana.
