Youth Kills Girl As She Rejected His Advances, Surrenders Before Police In Rayagada

Rayagada: A youth murdered a girl from Bissamkatak in Odisha’s Rayagada district on Monday night for rejecting his romantic proposal.

The deceased, Nitu Nauri was an inhabitant of the Block Colony under Bissamkatak police station limits.

After committing the murder, the accused surrendered at the Gunpur police station in Rayagada district and confessed to the crime.

According to reports, after the girl rejected his romantic advances, the youth called her to a jungle under the Bissamkatak police station limits, where he reportedly killed her.

Gunpur police have recovered the body and sent it for postmortem.
