Youth Stabs Woman to Death for Rejecting Romantic Advances, Later Tries to Commit Suicide in Andhra

Visakhapatnam: A 23-year-old man stabbed a woman to death with a knife as she rejected his romantic advances in Andhra Pradesh’s Eluru. After killing the woman, the accused tried to commit suicide with the same knife. He was critically injured.

According to reports, the accused, Yesuratnam was stalking Jakku Ratna Grace (22) for quite some time. On Thursday, he stabbed her with a knife near her home.

Grace died on the spot. Yesuratnam was seriously injured as he attempted to commit suicide by stabbing himself.

Locals rushed Yesuratnam to the Eluru government hospital for treatment. His condition is said to be critical.

Police are investigating the case.
