British University Offers Master’s Course in Magic & Occult

The University of Exeter in Britain is to launch a Master’s degree course in ‘Magic and Occult Science’.

According to the official website of the university, full-time students can complete the course in one year and it will be two years course for those opting for part-time study.

According to the university, this course will allow students to explore their specific interests within the extensive and diverse history of esotericism, witchcraft, ritual magic, occult science, and related subjects.

The course curriculum features a core module called ARAM251 Esotericism and the Magical Tradition, which covers a wide range of topics including the history of magic in ancient Greece and Rome, the presence of occult texts in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, the evolution of witchcraft, the portrayal of magic in literature and folklore, the study of deception and illusion, and the historical development of science and medicine, among other significant themes.
