Asha Bhosle Warns Fans About Fake TikTok Account In Her Name

Mumbai: Legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle on Monday warned her fans all over the world regarding a fake account impersonating her on the video app TikTok. She cautioned fans in a note shared on her official Instagram page.

In 2020, TikTok was banned in India along with 58 Chinese apps. But fans of Asha Bhosle exist all over the world and the singer uploaded the message for them.

The music icon, who celebrated her 91st birthday on September 8, has produced numerous hits in her eight-decade long musical career. Several songs sung by her are still alive in minds of music buffs.

“Alert to all Asha Ji fans! Fake account spotted going live and playing games on tik tok. Let’s report and protect the legend’s name (sic)” read the message on her Instagram Story.

It also contained screenshots of the fake TikTok id posing as the singer using her name and photo as profile picture.
