NCB Files 200-Page Chargesheet Against Comedian Bharti Singh & Husband Haarsh Limbachiya

Mumbai: According to reports, Mumbai Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday submitted a 200-page charge sheet to the court against comedian Bharti Singh and her spouse Haarsh Limbachiya. Whereas they were detained in 2020 as part of a drug investigation, they are currently out on bail.

The couple was detained by the NCB in late 2020 on suspicion of drug consumption and possession of marijuana, which shocked the entertainment industry. Subsequently, 86.50 gms of marijuana was seized from their possession resulting in their arrest. Each of them was given a bail bond of Rs. 15,000.

Earlier, based on drug-related WhatsApp chats, the NCB launched a probe into the pervasive drug use in Bollywood following actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide in June 2020.

Notably, the central agency apprehended Rhea Chakraborty, an actress who was dating Rajput, and her brother Showik in accordance with the NDPS Act.
