Chennai: South superstar Rajinikanth was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai on Monday night.
According to reports, his condition is stable. He was admitted to the hospital after he complained of a stomach pain. Sources say that he will undergo an elective procedure on Tuesday, which was scheduled earlier.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin in a post on X wished for Rajinikanth’s speedy recovery. In his post in Tamil, he wrote, “I wish my friend Mr Rajinikanth, who has been hospitalised, a speedy recovery.”
Over the past few weeks, Rajinikanth had been shooting for his upcoming film, Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj in Visakhapatnam. He travelled to Chennai on September 20 to attend the audio launch of Vettaiyan. During the ceremony, he danced and also delivered an hour-long speech.
