Shraddha Kapoor Surpasses Priyanka Chopra Jonas to Become 2nd Most Followed Indian on Instagram

Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has continued her meteoric rise to fame, surpassing Priyanka Chopra Jonas to become the second most followed Indian actress on Instagram with 92.1 million followers.

Priyanka Chopra currently has 91.8 million followers. Earlier, Shraddha also surpassed Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has 91.3 million followers. The top spot is held by star cricketer Virat Kohli, who boasts 217 million followers.

Her recent success is largely attributed to the phenomenal box office performance of her horror-comedy film, Stree 2. The sequel to the 2018 hit has been breaking records and captivating audiences across the country. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film also stars Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee.

The success of Stree 2 has not only solidified Kapoor’s position as a leading actress but has also garnered widespread acclaim for the entire cast and crew.

Stree 2 was released in theaters on August 15 and has been a major box office hit.
