‘SITA’ Dipika Chikhlia reacts to ‘Adipurush’ teaser

Mumbai: Actor Dipika Chikhlia, who played the role of ‘Mata Sita’ in the popular Ramananda Sagar’s ‘Ramayana’, recently reacted to the teaser of Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon Starrer ‘Adipurush’.

In an interview, Dipika said that a film’s character must appeal to the audience. According to her, if the character is from Sri Lanka, they should not look like Mughals. The actress also added that she couldn’t understand much as one gets to see him for mere 30 seconds in the teaser, but the actor does look different. She also added that she agrees that times have changed and VFX is essential, but only as long as the people’s sentiments are not hampered.

Directed by Om Raut, ‘Adipurush’ stars Prabhas as Shree Ram, Kirti as Mata Sita, and Saif Ali Khan as Raavan. It is slated to hit the theatres in January 2023.
