TVF Has ‘Panchayat 4’ & ‘Panchayat 5’ In The Pipeline

Mumbai: TVF is planning for at least two more seasons of the popular series “Panchayat”, said director Deepak Kumar Mishra.

According to Mishta, the team has already started work on the fourth instalment. Season three of Panchayat will premiere on Prime Video on May 28.

“Panchayat” was a major hit with the viewers in 2020. Its second season had an overwhelming viewer response upon its 2022 release.

The director of the show has revealed that they have written three to four episodes of season four of the show.

“So far, we have thought about making of the season four and five. For season four, we have a clear idea, and there is a broader idea for season five,” Mishra told PTI.

“Panchayat” tells the story of an engineering graduate, who takes up the post of a panchayat secretary in Phulera, a fictional remote village in Uttar Pradesh.

The third season of “Panchayat” will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
