Youth Found Hanging In Hotel Room In Bhubaneswar After Celebrating B’day

Bhubaneswar: A youth was found hanging from the ceiling of his hotel room in the Khandagiri area of Bhubaneswar on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Durga Prasad Mishra, a resident of Niali.

According to reports, Durga had booked a room in the hotel to celebrate his birthday with his friends.  Later the matter came to the fore after his friends found Durga hanging in the hotel room and informed the Khandagiri police.

On being informed, police rushed to the spot and initiated a probe.

Further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact reason behind the extreme step.

The mobile of the deceased will be analysed by the police to find any evidence regarding his alleged suicide. The family of the deceased has, however, brought murder charges.
