46 Girls, Women Were Among 53 Killed In Kabul School Bombing: UN

Kabul: The United Nations (UN) on Monday stated that 46 girls and women were among 53 killed in Kabul classroom suicide bombing on Friday, September 30.

The UN Mission in Afghanistan informed that the human toll from Friday’s bombing in Hazara neighbourhood of the Afghan capital has now risen to 53.

It also said that 110 people were injured in the explosion.

“Our human rights team continues documenting the crime: verifying facts & establishing reliable data to counter denial & revisionism,” UN mission in Afghanistan tweeted.

The blast took place in the west of Kabul’s PD-6 inside the education centre located in Dasht-e-Barchi when students were taking a practice college exam.

Several women from the minority Hazara community took out protest march against the terror attack at the Kaaj Educational Centre.
