China refuses to ban Pakistani terrorists…

Beijing: China is ready to go to any level for personal gain from Pakistan. Not only this, but China is also ready to compromise with terrorism. China is delaying approval of the proposal made by the US and India at the UNSC to ban Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed senior commander Abdul Rauf Azhar. However, in 2010, the United States put Rauf on the terrorist list. A resolution was later passed at the UNSC to declare it a global terrorist, but China did not support it.

In 1999, Rauf conspired to hijack an Indian Airlines flight IC-814. He was only 24 years old then. There were 173 people on the plane. The abduction forced the Indian government to release Rauf’s elder brother and Jaish leader Masood Azhar.

Since then, Rauf has been listed among India’s five most wanted terrorists. Rauf has been plotting many attacks by Jaish in India. These include the 2001 terrorist attack on the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, the attack on the Parliament, the Pathankot terror attack, the attack on Nagiota and Kathua camps, and the recent Pulwama terror attack. According to Indian intelligence agencies, Abdul Rauf Azhar takes all the decisions related to the Jaish organization in the absence of Azhar Masood.
