Despite Silver Neeraj Chopra’s Net Worth Rs 37 Crore, Gold Winner Arshad Nadeem’s Is Trailing

New Delhi: Arshad Nadeem won Pakistan’s first ever individual gold at the Olympics in Javelin throw adding another page to Neeraj Chopra vs Arshad Nadeem – the javelin rivalry that will be closely followed in years to come.

The rivalry got another boost at the Paris Olympics 2024, with Arshad winning the gold and Neeraj the silver.

Neeraj was a gold medallist at the 2023 World Championships and the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

According to a report in GQ India, Neeraj’s net worth is $ 4.5 million (Rs 37 crore). He endorses top brands like Omega, Under Armour.

In comparison, Nadeem’s net worth is much less. As per reports he was worth less than Rs (INR) 1 crore.

However, after his recent Olympic gold, Arshad’s net worth is is continuing to rise. He has received of 153 million Pakistan rupees in cash prizes after the Olympics.

The Chief Minister of the Pakistan state of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, has announced a reward of PKR 100 million for Nadeem. Punjab governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has announced a further PKR 2 million reward. The CM of Sindh will give him PKR 50 million. Sindh governor Kamran Tessori has also announced a PKR 1 million reward for Nadeem.

Popular Pakistani singer Ali Zafar has declared to pay PKR 1 million to Nadeem, while cricketer Ahmad Shahzad also awarded the same amount.
