Drunk US Judge Shoots Wife Dead, Had Dozens of Guns

A California judge, Jeffrey Ferguson shot dead his wife in an inebriated state. Following an argument he fired at his wife with a gun he kept in an ankle holster.

After committing the crime, he sent a message to a colleague saying “I won’t be in tomorrow. I will be in custody.”

Judge Jeffrey Ferguson was found to be having dozens of guns and 26,000 rounds of ammunition at his house.

Ferguson, 72, sits on Orange County Superior Court, was arrested in a drunken state.
